Meet Joanna Mayberry

A Texas native born in El Paso and raised in Katy but has called Waco home for almost 20 years. Prior to real estate, I spent the first part of my career in the world of education for 14 years. I worked at many different schools in and around Waco which gives me great insight not only to schools; but neighborhoods as well! My career in real estate began as I took on the Marketing and Social Media for Amanda Cunningham. My love for the profession grew as I found myself educating friends on the real estate market and guiding them on how to begin the process of buying and selling their homes. That was when I realized I could take my love for educating others and building those relationships with others as a real estate agent myself! I have now helped many first-time home buyers, empty nesters and friends who need more space find their dream homes and my heart is so full!

Like everyone who falls hard for Waco, I am a total foodie, outdoors enthusiast, and history nut. When I'm not closing deals, you'll find me around Waco with my husband, Steve and two daughters, Audrey and Emily, boating, exploring our city's best food scene, or at one of Waco's beautiful hiking trails. It's easy to sell something when you have an absurd passion for it. Waco has such a rich history that I absolutely love to share with clients. There's so much more than meets the eye! I would love to show you all of the little secrets our town has.
